Thank you!

Our Open House was a great success, raising $5,000 for Kernes Pool's Scholarship Program to provide warm water exercise for children, elders and Veterans.

Special thanks to CSUMB's Service Learning Institute for their partnership with Kernes Pool, the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce for sponsoring the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, local business that contributed to the Lucky Ducky Raffle, all the volunteers who made this event so fun, and everyone who generously donated to our Scholarship Fund.

You keep Kernes Pool welcoming and warm for more than 100 people with special needs!

Children Learn and Play at Kernes Pool

Thanks to your support and grants from the Nancy Buck Ransom Foundation and Autism Speaks, 30 children are learning to swim at Kernes Pool.

In addition to physical benefits, warm water exercise improves children’s coordination, social interaction and communication skills. One mom notes, “The pool helps my son feel more relaxed, more confident, more focused.”
