Food, friends and fun to benefit children and adults with special needs.

Swimming, children's activities, contests and prizes for people of all ages and abilities, a great raffle and a Universal Studios Hollywood Grand Prize are all part of this fun event.

SPLASH is free and open to the public. Donations are very welcome, and fund scholarships for all who need Kernes Pool.

One person in five has a disability.  Please share our website with friends and family for information about our warm water exercise programs and other community resources.

Information & Application

 

Kernes Adaptive Aquatics provides warm water exercise programs that help children and adults with special needs gain health, strength, mobility and confidence.

Our 92 degree water and skilled staff foster comfort, dignity and hope through 15,000 hours of instruction and exercise each year. We offer a wide range of programs, from fully-assisted to independent exercise, as well as Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program classes.

The Josephine Kernes Memorial Pool has been an integral part of the Monterey Peninsula since 1972.
