Kernes Adaptive Aquatics provides warm water exercise programs that help children and adults with special needs gain health, strength, mobility and confidence.
Our 92 degree water and skilled staff foster comfort, dignity and hope through 15,000 hours of instruction and exercise each year. We offer a wide range of programs, from fully-assisted to independent exercise, as well as Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program classes.
The Josephine Kernes Memorial Pool has been an integral part of the Monterey Peninsula since 1972.

New Scholarship Grant Available!
Kernes has received a grant from the Katherine Curtis Springer Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Patient Support Fund of the Community Foundation for Monterey County. If you have been diagnosed with one of these conditions, you may qualify for a scholarship.
